As surgeons, our ultimate goal is to provide the best possible care for our patients, and this year’s EGS Symposium on 13th November will focus on a crucial aspect of our practice: Preventing Complications.
This theme resonates with all of us, as we strive every day to reduce risks and improve outcomes in our surgical work. The symposium will feature sessions dedicated to the training, tools, and techniques that can help us minimize complications, as well as thoughtful discussions on how these complications impact us as healthcare professionals.
Additionally, we're thrilled by the fantastic response to our call for abstracts - expect to hear the latest research and innovative ideas during the event. For those eager to attend, you can view the full programme here, and remember, the early registration deadline is Wednesday, 16th October.
We're excited to have Lyndsay Pearce, the new Chair of NELA, leading a session alongside the NELA team, where they’ll offer valuable insights and “food for thought.” If you’re interested in getting more involved, don’t miss the details on the NELA Surgical Lead vacancy (find out more here).
We can’t wait to welcome you in Manchester or online (register here)
