Council

ASGBI Council is a key advisory and representative body within the Association, bringing together voices from across the breadth of General Surgery. Comprising of Executive Board, Regional Representatives, appointed Leads and leaders from affiliated sub-speciality Associations, the Council plays an essential role in shaping policy, guiding strategic priorities, and ensuring that ASGBI remains grounded in the needs of its members.

Through regular engagement and discussion, the Council supports the Executive Board in delivering on the Association’s mission to advance general and emergency surgery throughout the UK and Ireland.
