EARLY CAREER CONSULTANT NETWORK (ECCN)

The Early Career Consultant Network, part of the ASGBI, supports newly appointed Consultants (within five years of appointment) and Senior Trainees (ST8 and Post-CCT) as they navigate the transition to consultant life. We also welcome non-consultant grade colleagues facing similar challenges, including those pursuing CESR.

Why Join

ECCN membership is automatic for eligible ASGBI members and includes access to more than 30 CPD points annually; helping meet GMC’s professional development requirements. We also collaborate on educational projects aimed at early career surgeons, so if you have an initiative to share, we’d like to hear from you.
