About the ASGBI Emergency General Surgery Symposium

The Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland (ASGBI) Emergency General Surgery (EGS) Symposium is an annual one day hybrid event, offering attendance in person or online. The 2026 symposium will focus on the delivery and running of the modern EGS service. A range of experts will discuss options for ambulating acute care surgical presentations, remote monitoring, the management and scoring of common presentations to risk stratify management and tech enabled solutions to advance patient centred care.
