General Surgery ST6 – West Midlands
Mr Mohamed Issa is an ST5 General Surgery trainee in the West Midlands Deanery with a keen interest in minimally invasive surgery. He holds two master’s degrees in Surgery and is currently pursuing a Master of Medical Education. Passionate about research and education, he has an extensive publication record and serves as an instructor for Royal College of Surgeons courses. As Engagement and Social Media Lead for the Moynihan Academy, he is dedicated to enhancing surgical training and fostering greater trainee engagement. Outside work, he enjoys travelling, quality family time, and reading.
