General Surgery ST5 – Yorkshire & the Humber / Clinical Research Fellow, University of Birmingham
Marwa is an ST5 based in Yorkshire and is currently a Research Fellow at University Hospitals Birmingham. Her main interest is in increasing equal access to surgery. She is currently undertaking research in EDI for surgeons and has been on the EDI committee for the ASGBI. She is a past Surgical Lead for Kings Somaliland Health Partnership, Somaliland and active in diaspora organisations as well as outreach initiatives for minoritised groups in the UK.
