George is an International Medical Graduate and a current ST6 in General Surgery based in Inverness. With a robust background that includes five years as a SAS doctor and a previous term as Vice President of the Trainees’ Division of the Indian Medical Association, George brings extensive experience to his clinical and leadership roles.
Currently a Scottish Clinical Leadership Fellow, he serves as Co-Chair of the Shadow Leadership Board at Public Services Delivery, Scotland. George has a distinguished record of trainee advocacy, having served on the RCSEd Trainee Committee, as Treasurer for the Moynihan Academy, and as Deputy Director of Medical Education for ASiT. A dedicated proponent of clinical governance, he holds a PgDip in Healthcare Law and Ethics from the University of Dundee. His clinical and professional interests include paediatric, rural, and humanitarian surgery.
