Nicholas Watson graduated from Nottingham University Medical School in 1999 and has been a Consultant Colorectal Surgeon at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust since 2013. He currently serves as the Regional General Surgery Higher Surgical Training Programme Director and Vice Chair of the JCST General Surgery Specialty Advisory Committee.
He is a member of the JCIE Board of Examiners for the Intercollegiate FRCS and the UK Clinical Lead for General Surgery ST3 National Recruitment. His previous roles include contributing to the ASGBI Training Village over multiple years.
Outside of work, he enjoys travelling, the outdoors, playing tennis, and catching Pokémon!
