Amal is currently an ST3 in the East of England deanery. She graduated from King’s College London, and since medical school has been passionate about ensuring fair access and equity in surgery, and translating Moynihan Academy's principles of inclusion and diversity into meaningful change. She is particularly interested in barriers to engagement with surgical training, and aims to collaborate with different organisations to promote surgery and demonstrate its ever growing diversity, in order to inspire and encourage anybody who is passionate to go for this fulfilling career path.
