I am a general surgeon with a special interest in breast and soft tissue sarcoma surgery. I was elected as the Yorkshire (old region) representative to the ASGBI Council in 2009. Since the changes in regional boundaries and the RCS-ASGBI initiative on College Advisers I act as the Regional Specialty Professional Adviser for General Surgery for Yorkshire and Humber and would be pleased to discuss any issues regarding College approval of Job Descriptions for consultant appointments. I am also very happy to help in any other matters where the ASGBI can assist.
