Mr Allan Corder
I am a breast and general surgeon working in Hereford. I was elected as West Midlands regional representative to the ASGBI in January 2009. I am also the Regional Specialty Professional Adviser for the West Midlands. It is an ASGBI appointment but incorporates the previous RCSE role of Regional Special Adviser. In these roles, I act as your representative on the Council of the ASGBI.
I am therefore happy to be contacted about any matters that you may wish to bring to the attention of the ASGBI. I also sit on the RCSE regional professional affairs board on which I represent the interests of general surgery within the West Midlands region. I am keen to hear of issues that you feel affect the standards of general surgical services within the region.
