Appointed in 1991, I am a Consultant General and Vascular surgeon at the Taunton and Somerset Hospital. I have an interest in surgical education at an Undergraduate and Postgraduate level, and was Somerset Academy Medical Dean from 2002–2009, and an MRCS Examiner for RCS England from 2001 (Chairman of Court of Examiners 2006-2008).
I was elected as ASGBI representative for South West England in July 2010 and hope to be able to represent your interests and concerns to ASGBI Council as best I can.
