Mr John Moorehead
Appointed Senior Lecturer in Surgery in Queens University of Belfast and Honorary Consultant Surgeon in the Mater Hospital, Belfast in 1989. Currently Consultant Surgeon with an interest in GI surgery in the Ulster Hospital, Belfast and Honorary Senior Lecturer in Surgery at Queens University of Belfast since 1992. Since then have held the posts of Clinical Director for Cancer Services, Clinical Director for General Surgery and Clinical Director for Elective Care Reform.
I was elected as regional representative on Council in 2007 and have held the post of Honorary Secretary of the Association since 2010. My aim is to ensure that the views of the N.Ireland surgeons are well represented in the Association.
