Professor Kevin C. P. Conlon, MA MCh MBA FRCSI FACS FRCS FTCD
Professor Conlon is Professor of Surgery at Trinity College Dublin based in the Adelaide and Meath Hospital Dublin, incorporating the National Children’s Hospital (AMiNCH) and an HPB surgeon at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin, Ireland. He is a surgical oncologist with a clinical interest in upper gastrointestinal cancer, particularly gastric and pancreatic malignancies. He is internationally recognised and widely published in the field of surgical oncology and pancreatology. He is currently the Editor-in-Chief of Digestive Surgery and is on the editorial board of eight international journals.
He is a member of many cooperative groups and is a Past-President (2011) of the Pancreatic Society of Great Britain & Ireland (PSGBI) and the immediate past Secretary to the European-African Hepato-pancreato-biliary Association (E-AHPBA).
He also has an interest in health informatics and economics, having obtained an MBA from Columbia University, New York. Prior to joining TCD, he was Associate Chairman of the Department of Surgery and Director of the Minimally Invasive Therapeutics Programme at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer, New York.
