Including a special conference on "Changing Faces of UK Medical Ethics"
A stimulating multi-disciplinary introduction to philosophical medical ethics for medical and nursing teachers, GPs, members of ethics committees, hospital consultants and health administrators. Organised in collaboration with the Institute of Medical Ethics. Lectures/seminars, small and large groups led by leading international authorities in the field of medical ethics. This course is approved by the Royal College of Physicians for 27 Continuing Medical Education (CME/CPD) credits.
This year, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Imperial College Intensive Course in Medical Ethics, the course will include a one day conference, on Thursday 18 September, on the theme 'Changing faces of UK medical ethics'. Course members will hear short presentations from leading medical ethicists, and will have substantial opportunity to interact with them.
