Digital Photographic Competition
Terms and Conditions:

1. Photographs must be the work of the person submitting the entry.

2. There are three categories and a maximum of 3 entries per person in total is allowed.

3. Photographs must be submitted in digital format as a jpeg with a resolution of 800 x 600 dpi or above.

4. Images must be submitted by email through the ASGBI website or posted on CD to the ASGBI office, including your name, photo title and contact details.

5. Entries will be judged by delegates and judging will therefore be based largely on artistic merit and not technical excellence.

6. The winning image will be displayed at the EICC, featured in the Association’s newsletter and on the ASGBI website. By submitting images to this competition, you agree to provide ASGBI with non-exclusive rights to publish your image should it be selected as a competition winner. ASGBI makes no claim to images submitted and copyright remains the property of the photographer. No fee is offered for publication, however a photographer's credit will be published.

7. It is the responsibility of the photographer to gain the required permissions, allowing them to post images containing recognisable people on the ASGBI website. All submissions are accepted on the understanding that the photographer agrees to these terms and has obtained the required permissions.

8. Prizes will be posted to UK postal addresses only. Should the winner be unable to provide a UK postal address they will need to pick up their prize from the EICC on Friday 5th May 2006.

9. Please note that this competition is only open to Members and Affiliated Societies of ASGBI or to those registered to attend the Annual Scientific Meeting.

10. The winner will be chosen by delegates and will be contacted on the evening of Thursday 4th May. The prize will be available for collection at the Registration Desk at the ICC on
Friday 5th May before 1 p.m.

11.The closing date for entries was Friday 21st April 2006.
